rov_graverobbery is a fully developed, immersive grave robbery and treasure hunt system for FiveM, built specifically for serious roleplay servers that value atmosphere, risk, and meaningful gameplay loops.
This script is not a simple “press E and receive loot” mechanic. Every action is designed to feel dangerous, deliberate, and unpredictable. Digging graves carries consequences, both immediate and long-term, forcing players to carefully consider when and where they choose to act.
Grave robbery is handled through interactive target zones and a skill-based digging system. Players must succeed in skill checks, remain exposed during the digging process, and accept the possibility that their actions may attract unwanted attention. Cooldowns, police requirements, and server-side validation ensure that grave robbery remains balanced and cannot be farmed or abused.
Not every grave is empty. Some contain valuable loot, others hide cursed or dangerous discoveries. With a configurable chance, disturbing a grave may trigger an unexpected encounter, instantly turning a calculated robbery into a fight for survival. These encounters are designed to enhance tension and immersion without overwhelming the server or turning gameplay into a full zombie apocalypse.
Beyond the graves lies something more. Rare loot can initiate a multi-step treasure hunt, transforming a single robbery into a longer, story-driven experience. Treasure hunts guide players to search areas rather than exact locations, forcing exploration and investigation instead of simple waypoint following. Each step hides the true dig location within a marked area, requiring players to actively search and think.
Treasure progression is fully separated from grave robbery logic. Treasure locations can never trigger grave cooldowns, grave checks, or grave rewards. This clean separation guarantees stable gameplay, prevents conflicts, and allows server owners to balance both systems independently.
The final step of a treasure hunt rewards players with configurable, high-value loot, making the journey feel worthwhile while maintaining server economy balance. Every step is validated server-side, preventing exploits and ensuring fair play.
rov_graverobbery integrates seamlessly into existing roleplay environments. Optional police dispatch integration can alert law enforcement to suspicious activity, creating organic RP scenarios. Minimum police requirements ensure that criminal gameplay only occurs when the server population supports it.
The script is fully configurable through a single config file. Server owners can adjust loot tables, cooldowns, treasure steps, zombie behavior, police requirements, dispatch messages, and overall risk levels to perfectly match their server’s tone and roleplay style.
Performance and stability were a priority throughout development. All critical logic is handled server-side, unnecessary loops are avoided, and cleanup systems ensure no lingering entities or zones remain active. The resource is optimized for long-term use on populated servers.
rov_graverobbery is ideal for servers that want to introduce dark, mysterious criminal gameplay without breaking immersion. It encourages roleplay, cooperation, investigation, and risk assessment — turning every dig into a story rather than a routine action.
Some graves hide loot.
Some hide secrets.
And some should never be disturbed.
